The Carpet Cleaning Clinic  Five-Stage Cleaning Process

Before beginning we survey the carpet or upholstery that needs to be cleaned.

The survey is to establish the extent of soiling, check the depth of the soil and signs of permanent staining or any pre-existing damage, We also pay particular attention to the condition of the carpet fixings, and type of backing to ensure there are no shrinkage of the carpet or bleeding of colours.

We carry out carpet cleaning dye test and carpet fibre identification test as they s it will influence the solutions we would use and method of cleaning. fibre testing will also  tel us if a stain is likely to be permanent or can be removed.

Natural carpets that are wool based need attention.

PH Level

Your carpet must be left at the correct PH level after the clean  this prevents rapid resoiling or permanent damage, we will test before and after the clean the detail is important.

The Carpet Cleaning Clinic will only use cleaning products that specific for your carpet. it takes a fully trained technician to choose the correct combination and clean to the highest standard.

Only once we have conducted this survey can we select the most effective treatments and cleaning method method.

 Step 1                                                 Pre-Vacuum

All areas to be cleaned are Pre-Vacuumed with an industrial strength vacuum cleaner removing any dry soil particles in the fabric, Step 1 will remove around 70% of soil (Dirt) in your carpets.

Step 2                                                  Pre-Conditioning

After Pre-Vacuuming, the areas are sprayed using the Cleaning solutions (based on the survey and the PH testing) The cleaning solution may include heavy traffic treatment, spot solution or deodoriser.

The cleaning solution will break down the embedded dirt  missed by the dry vacuum loosening any remaining soil and stains.
